Our Attorneys

Jennifer McClain received her B.A. with honors in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1995 and graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1999.  Ms. McClain is now a partner in the law firm of Dent & McClain, Chartered, where she practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Marital and Family Law and Estate Planning. Being part of a small family law firm gives her the opportunity to continue her focus on building lasting relationships.

Ms. McClain wants her clients to be left with the knowledge and belief that she represented their interests intelligently and vigorously to get them the best results possible.  She also wants her clients to understand the process in which they are involved and be informed enough to make choices in that process.  She prides herself on providing exceptional service to her clients.

Ms. McClain is a member of the Florida Bar and the Sarasota County Bar Association.  She has been involved with the Guardian Ad Litem Program which gives a voice to abused, abandoned and neglected children.
